I’m laughing a lot at work. And I’m laughing hard. Here are two highlights from work this week:

1. Today I wanted to double-check with my supervisor if this website that was selling “kama sutra chairs” was considered an adult site. This was the conversation:

ME: Hey, are kama sutra chairs OK?

SUPERVISOR: Well, maybe…you should ask Ergo first.

(Ergo is the department that handles our back problems and gives us new chairs.)

ME: What???

SUPERVISOR: I mean, if you want to bring in your own chair from home, you might want to check with them first. There was a girl who wanted to bring in her own chair from home once, but they didn’t let her. What if she fell off of her own chair because it broke?

ME: What?? (laughing hysterically) I’m NOT planning on bringing my own kama sutra chair to work! I’d have to type on my computer while lying down.

*I still don’t know if he thinks I really want to bring a kama sutra chair to work because he just went back to work. He must think I’m a major pervert.

2. On Thursday, they started serving the employees Mojitos and beer and everyone got a little loopy. We have this thing on Thursdays where they play song requests for 20 minutes on the loudspeaker. “Chocolate Rain” was one of the requests. It’s the funniest song I’ve ever heard. Imagine trying to work while hearing lyrics like, “Chocolate rain…Some stay dry and others feel the pain..CHOCOLATE RAIN!” The song seemed to go on forever. Here’s the video:

My friend, Phuong and I made our own version. It’s called “Green Tea Hail”.
